Oligo Professionnel's creative team - a foursome of some of the industry's most talented and experienced stylists, individually handpicked to inspire and elevate fellow stylists' artistry - has released its 2016 Signature Looks collection. In creating the four gorgeous styles, the team drew inspiration from current fashion innovators who utilize new materials and evolving technologies to showcase designs, while simultaneously drawing a connective thread between trailblazing icons of the past and present.
Designed to inspire hairstylists in the salon to create their own interpretation, each of the Signature Looks embraces individuality - however it is expressed. The looks include Soft Prim, inspired by the gracefulness and quiet confidence of Grace Kelly and Charlize Theron, as well as designers Marchesa and Chloe; Shape Shift, which relies on duality, mysticism and adaptability, as displayed by Cher and Lady Gaga, as well as designers Iris Van Herpen and Hussein Chalayan; Real Girl, an authentic, edgy, and eclectic look inspired by trendsetters like Mia Farrow, Gwen Stefani and designers Heatherette and L.A.M.B.; and Be Bold, a forward-thinking, polished style that's not afraid to take risks like Joan Collins, Rihanna and designers Gareth Pugh and Balenciaga.
Says the Oligo Professionnel creative team, "We invite stylists and colorists to embrace our unique reinterpretations of looks that express truly progressive individuality and use this collection to inspire their ability to create transformation for their salon guests."
