L’Oréal’s 100th birthday!
L’Oréal’s 100th birthday has been filled with a year of celebrations, 100 do-good deeds and the unveiling of new products across the board to commemorate this momentous milestone. The grandiose celébration also represents the summation of 100 years of beauty, innovation and exploration by this remarkable beauty giant—all thanks to French chemist and founder Eugenè Schueller, who
concocted the company’s first permanent hair dye in 1909, and then bicycled from salon to salon to sell his revolutionary wares. “L’Oréal is 100 years old, and so is L’Oréal Professionnel, because the brand was born in coiffure,” beams worldwide L’Oréal Professionnel president Nicolas Hieronimus during the official Paris celebration.
In honor of this historic occasion, L’Oréal Professionnel is introducing the oil-rich INOA, a new, three-level-lift color line that’s touted by this überhip centenarian as being “the haircolor of the future.” Read more about this new line in “Art Supplies,”
